About Carrick on ShannonCarrick on Shannon is the county town of Co. Leitrim. Situated in the northwest of Ireland, a 2 hours drive/train/bus from Dublin, it is the smallest county town in Ireland. The population of about 4,000 people have been welcoming tourists from all over the world for decades to enjoy boating trips along the Shannon, fishing in the surrounding lakes and to relax in the scenic countryside.
In more recent years Carrick on Shannon has seen an increase in weekend stag and hen parties. The town has embraced these revellers with open arms. You can walk from one end of Carrick to the other in a matter of minutes and in that time you will have passed some of the most popular and best bars, pubs and restaurants in Ireland. The atmosphere of the town even on the busiest of nights is always relaxed.
It is fair to say that everyone wants to come to Carrick on Shannon but given the size there is only a limited number of places to stay in the town. We offer fantastic accommodation right in the heart of the town at a price that has yet to be beaten. Get in Contact

The place was great but the best thing was the location. I think it was 10 steps to the nearest pub.- Stephen H.
